Currumbin Tree Top Challenge

In dense rainforest less than 200m from Currumbin Beach you’ll be high in the sky pushing your mind and body to jump, climb and pull yourself through more than 80 challenges of varying difficulties along with 11 absolutely epic and extreme flying foxes.

The Currumbin Adventure Park is located within Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, which means you will spot iconic Australian wildlife such as kangaroos, crocodiles, dingoes and emus from the vantage point of the Tree Top Canopy as you zipline over animal enclosures during the challenge.

Alex Griffith Park & Len Wort Park

2 minute walk

Alex Griffith Park has open green space, trees to relax under and simple facilities. A great place to take the kids for a kick of the footy, the dog for a short stroll or just a place to find a bit of peace and quiet.

Len Wort Park is a lovely recreation park adjacent to Tugun Beach, with a great shaded playground for the kids. Excellent picnic facilities, and open space for a social cricket game.

The Salt Mill - Cafè

Wander up from Currumbin’s beach and you’ll find a haven of organic, raw goodness.

The Salt Mill serves delicious juices, smoothies, acai bowls and a range of organic wholefood snacks in a rustic little space where regulars and visitors can’t help but flock.

Currumbin Alley Surf School

Based at Currumbin Alley, the Gold Coast's most learner – friendly location, Currumbin Alley Surf School offers year round surfing lessons on the Gold Coast for people of all ages, sizes and ability levels.

Currumbin Beach Vikings SLSC

Nestled on Elephant Rock, The Currumbin Beach Vikings Surf Life Saving Club offers visitors a view of the Gold Coast like no other. Located only five minutes from the Gold Coast International Airport, enjoy a delicious meal while you watch the waves roll in. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, a visit to the Gold Coast is not complete without a stop at the Currumbin Beach Vikings.

Currumbin Rock Pools & Cougal Cascades

Pools: 18 minute drive / Cascades: 30 minute drive

Located alongside Currumbin Creek Road, take a dip and cool off at the Currumbin Rock Pools. The pools are suitable for all ages, with shallow sections perfect for the little ones as well as areas to enjoy a quiet picnic under the trees or visit the café conveniently located across the road.

Continue along Currumbin Creek Road from the rock pools and you'll reach the Mount Cougal section of Springbrook National Park where an 800 metre walking trail leads to cascading waterfalls, rock pools and an historic bush sawmill. Make sure you check out Cougal Cascades for a refreshing swim.

Freeman's Organic Farm

20 minute drive

Enjoy a scenic drive through Currumbin Valley to Freeman’s Organic Farm where you can call in for a coffee and enjoy the spectacular panoramic views right down the Currumbin Valley.

Freeman's Farm runs guided farm tours every Saturday from 1-2pm where you can learn about farming and the kids can even pick their own seasonal vegetables for free. They also have live music every Sunday, yoga classes, mums & bubs classes and more.
