Balter Brewing Company

The Balter HQ is a brewery located in Currumbin. It has an open-door policy which allows you to  tour the facility, taste the beers and enjoy special events, great music, food vans and a fun crew.

Inside it’s spacious warehouse-style set-up, you will find lots of brick, concrete, copper pipes and art on the walls. The beer tasting, which is arguably the main event -happens just metres away from the brewing equipment. If you’re into seeing exactly where each drop of beer comes from, it’s a perfect spot to hang and chill!

The brews are made by Scott Hargrave, a multi-award winning Australian brewer. He’s been brewing since 2006 and started out brewing at home. After a year of practise, he was awarded “Best First Time Entrant” at the Australian Amateur Brewing Championships.

The Balter brand believes that your taste buds come first and of course, making sure your beer tastes great.

The Balter HQ is located at 14 Traders Way, Currumbin and is open every Friday to Sunday.

Currumbin is all about relaxing and unwinding under the sun. If it gets too hot, your Balter beer could come in handy!
